- Adrienne Nightingale
- Music about life swirled in a comfortable yet haunting voice from Brooklyn, NY. Adrienne takes you on a journey that you don't really want to come back from. Seeing her show feels like a sweet mixture of sharing time with a beloved friend and voyeuring the spirit of a woman that you wish you could be. So beautiful. Then just when you think you figure her out - she exposes some jagged edges, and you're hooked for good. Get the cd. You won't be able to stop playing it.
- Malcolm Rollick
- I can't peg this sound down. Powerful. Thoughtful. Introspective. Makes you think, pulls you in, leaves you feeling a bit unsettled as you know you just heard something... but can't pin down exactly how it all felt. Malcolm on stage is someone who seems simultaneously private and fully exposed. It almost hurts to allow yourself to look... but you can't help it - it's so good. Don't miss the chance to see a show if she comes thru your town.

- "Original Roots Rock and Americana Band from the California Desert" says it all.
These guys are a warm friendly circle of sound swirling around you as you just kick back & enjoy the tunes. Mark's unique vocal delivery brings every song home and I can't say enough about the whole band, excellent musicians and harmonies and charisma all of em!

- I like to call these guys the Bobbo & Tracy show. They have assembled an amazing group of musicians each with their own flair and energy but seamlessly tight together. They can also pull off a show on their own. SO MUCH FUN to see play! Bobbo is a tightly wound ball of rock n roll vocals & guitar fire to Tracy's tall, cool glass of water thumpin' bass and voice like a resonating crystal. I don't know how Bobbo does it but I SWEAR some times both hands are off the guitar and he's still playing. Breaks a string... two... three (I think it was 5 at one Marlin Bar show) the music doesn't miss a beat as he runs over and plugs in another guitar to finish off the song. They have so much freakin' fun on stage! ALWAYS a great show go see them! They also host local club Americana Nights not to be missed.
Songs to Request: Lies Like These, Welfare Cadillac, Raining in Hollywood and CANDYLAND (see video below)
UPDATE: Bobbo broke a guitar in the FIRST SONG of the last Marlin show I saw. He didn't smash it repeatedly against the ground or anything normal - I literally saw him play this guitar to it's death. On the FIRST song of the show. The guy is crazy. Tracy just smiled pretty and did a quick count of the remaining guitars. Rock n Roll couples. Sometimes they scare me.

- I'm just getting to know this group but I really dug a set they played at the Blue Cafe in Long Beach. Interesting songs, great performance very cool vibe between band members Mike, Lisa (Mike's sister - she is the drummer!) and John. I'm gonna catch some more shows.
